About us
It all started one rainy summer, sittin’ around watchin’ that show Nashville. Something about that music, that country way of life – it lit a fire in us. Before long, we figured we’d been country at heart all along... just didn’t know it yet.

We started out makin’ German pop music, but somewhere along the way, we fell head over boots for country. And now, it’s official: we’re the country duo XC FeliXCitas. This right here is our very first country song – New Beginnings. And it sure feels like one.

For everyone curious to hear us in German – yep, we’ve got a podcast too: Two folks hittin’ midlife with dreams still in sight, talkin’ ’bout real-life stuff: everyday moments, body struggles, happy little highs, love and heartbreak, small-town stories, childhood memories, and all the beauty life has to offer. But we’re not stoppin’ there – we dive into art, music, and what’s goin’ on in the world around us. That’s FeliXCitas: Felix – musician, pop music coach, and producer. And Felicitas – just call her Feli – singer, fresh acrylic paint artist, and school teacher on the side. New episodes drop every Wednesday, full of straight-up Northern German charm. So come hang out, laugh along, chime in, or just kick back and listen.

Bio
Wir schreiben das Jahr 2018. Sängerin Felicitas möchte ihr Gitarrespiel verbessern und nimmt Unterricht bei Musiker und Produzent Felix. Ein Jahr lang kommt sie jede Woche zum Unterricht, bevor die beiden sich zum ersten Mal auch privat treffen – einige Zeit später sind sie ein Paar. Noch im gleichen Jahr beginnen sie mit dem Schreiben erster eigener Songs, und die Idee für ein gemeinsames Musikprojekt entsteht. Im Jahr 2020 ist es dann soweit. FeliXCitas sind da und verbinden Elemente des klassischen Singer Songwriter Genres mit elektronischen Sounds und modernen Beats. Das Video zu ihrer ersten Single “Du und Ich (Puls 140)”, in dem es um ihre eigene Geschichte geht, erscheint Anfang 2021. Aktuell arbeiten die beiden an neuen Songs, ihre zweite Single “Mein Blatt Klee” wird Anfang 2023 veröffentlicht.
